Gen 2 pokemon designs were so good...Just replaying silver and genuinely enjoying trying to fill up my pokedex with all my old hardware.

I honestly play through the GBC games pretty regularly and have never been disappointed. Like I remember even when RSE just came out I just wanted to keep playing GS. The only thing that brought me fully to Gen 3 was FRLG.

I didn't much like BW2 (or BW for that matter), seemed way too generic, and so does SM2

They are edgy, and completely different from most pokemon games, and the same people that like it say the same things about gen 4. Makes no sense to me. The dex is easily the worst out of any generation with only a select few of them that are decent.
